Tomia MacQueen and her family have called Wildflower Farm in Pennington, New Jersey home for the past year and a half. She has been an organic gardener for 13 years and for the past 27 years has been a dancer, a choreographer, teacher and a director of Liturgical dance ministry. She is the founder of both Dance for L.I.F.E. and Gardening for L.I.F.E. (Love, Inspiration, Faith, and Empowerment). Tomia earned her Bachelors Degree in Dance Education at Hunter College in New York City and combines her experiences in both the dance and modeling world with her knowledge as a Master Gardener to teach her students the importance of a healthy lifestyle and body image and how to pursue it.The MacQueen family began their homesteading journey after deciding to leave the suburban bubble in Michigan to give their children, and themselves, a new and fresh way of living in the country where they keep donkeys and raise chickens, ducks, geese, and sheep.
